Private yoga class

Yoga may begin on the mat, but it is more than a workout.
It is a practice of coming home to your body, exactly as it is.

For more ease. Less pain. Greater strength. A quieter mind.
That intention is welcome.

In a 1-to-1 session, we honour your intention without turning it into something that needs to be fixed or forced. Together, we create a safe space to explore what your body is communicating; free from performance, free from pressure, free from the need to change anything.

​

As a sense of safety settles in the nervous system, space begins emerge.
Space to feel and soften.
Space to sense your boundaries.
Space to build steadiness and strength from within.

It is in this meeting of clear intention and open awareness that real shifts can happen.

My sessions weave together classical hatha yoga, breathwork, and embodied awareness. Sometimes quiet and restorative, sometimes grounding and strong; always attuned to your body, your pace, and your process.

The practice is here to support you.
Never the other way around.

The Therapeutic Effects of Yoga

When yoga is offered with care and attunement, it can support the regulation of the autonomic nervous system.

 

From a place of experienced safety, space arrises for:

  • relaxation

  • slowing down

  • greater awareness

  • recognising personal boundaries

  • allowing emotions

  • exploring bodily sensations

 

Stiffness, pain, restlessness, shame, or tension is not pushed away or “fixed,” but gently felt and explored.

 

By staying present with what arises, new experiences can emerge in the body.
Safety is not something we think about; it is something we feel.
Strength is not forced; it is discovered.

 

This approach can be supportive in times of stress, burnout, psychosomatic symptoms, or recovery after physical strain.

 

Yoga is not therapy.
But it can have a therapeutic effect.

Why 1-to-1?

In a private session, we are fully attuned to your body, your pace, and your process.

This may include:

  • Adapting postures around physical complaints (such as back issues or overuse injuries)

  • Extra attention to breath and nervous system regulation

  • Space to reflect on and integrate your experience

  • Slowing down when needed

  • Offering challenge where appropriate

  • 60-minute session – €60

  • 90-minute session – €80

  • At your home (Utrecht region) or outdoors in nature

  • Also available for duos or small groups (adjusted rate)

  • Can be combined with coaching
